Was Tszyu-Judah a good stoppage?

It's a tough call but no ref want's to see a fighter damaged in a fight they are reffing. If he let the fight continue and Judah got brain damage this thread title would say 'Why didn't Nady save Zab when he was clearly very hurt?'

I honestly think even if the bell went he would not have come out for round three with a clear head and would have just taken more punishment.

 

When a fighter goes down TWICE from the same punch it is an automatic stoppage. Nady and commentator Bobby Czyz said that during the fight and shortly afterwards and as far as I know nobody has shown them to be incorrect about their comment.

People who are saying it was a bad stoppage are exposing themselves as idiots who truly DKSAB.

edit: They even said it during the HBO broadcast a few times.

 

After Nady waives it off, Judah gets to his feet but is still held up by Nady. He would'nt have beaten the count. Judah's head cleared real quick but it didn't clear inside the 10 count. I'm amazed people call it a bad stoppage. I remember Kellerman saying how bad it was, he was just pissed that he ending up with egg on his face!

It was a line call but Kostya would have ****ed his **** up again later on in the fight and probably sooner rather than later had it been allowed to continue.

Good stoppage, that's the rules, it was funny when he was trying to tell the ref off while falling again! I believe he threatened the ref afterwards??

Bowe, cameback to win. Several other fighters did so as well.

The ref has ssen him get floored. Get up on newborn giraffe legs. Point and wobble around, then crash first into the mat, down for a second time.

What's the ref going to think? "Hmm, he doesn't seem too bad. Think ill let this go on a bit more".

 

The rules may have changed during the years between Holy-Bowe and Tzsyu-Judah because fighters in Bowe's circumstance were shown to be at greater risk of brain damage and "secondary concussions" were not mentioned too much before but secondary concussions had become a significant topic around the time of Tszyu-Judah.
