Was Tyrell Biggs the only boxer Tyson genuinely hated?

I love those, especially anything by John Carpenter. That dude went on an 80's tear where he didn't make a bad film. Assault On Precinct 13, Halloween, The Fog, Escape From New York, The Thing, Christine, Starman, Big Trouble In Little China, Prince of Darkness and They Live were all awesome! Not a bad one in the bunch.

Night of the Living Dead started it all. Well you have Psycho from 1960 where horror movies took a more modern approach. The grandaddy of slashers. Without Psycho there would be no Halloween

And out of all the zombie movies I'll take Day of the Dead and Return of the Living Dead, both from 1985.

Didn't Tyson not like Holyfield for years after their fight? Though I think both men have made peace with each other.

That might've been Mike's schtick to keep his bad boy image alive since his skills were in decline.

I forgot about Amityville and The Howling! Absolute classics. I personally heavily enjoyed ??The Burning - watched it with a group of teens it was fun.

I have Haute Tension here to watch and have been meaning to watch Martyrs as well. Cheers. I also worked my way through most of Argento's flicks at one time and there was some quality in that lot.

Argento and the Italians were something else. Deep Red, Zombie, The Beyond, Suspiria...all beautifully shot but some didn't make much sense. The Italian giallos of the 70's were prototypes for 80's slashers and had thee hottest Italian babes, I swear!! Puts today's models to shame.

    :D

His movies were definitely "different" at times.

I think he hated Lennox Lewis, despite being gracious during the postfight interview. I think he realized prefight, that he had been enough of an a$$hole, and was nice to make up for his behavior.

He was an angry violent demeaning emotional borderline bipolar afflicted drug addicted with a passion for inflicting pain since he was a kid- a better question is who tf did he like that he fought?

He didn’t fight Bowe because he liked him. I read MM wasn’t an option for Mike because while he was a LHW they got chummy. So I guess he didn’t like all of them at the time.

I LOVE all of those movies, John.

Haven't checked out the French ones yet but I love all of the above. Blair Witch...I've probably watched that a hundred times, creeps the hell out of me!

Fulci did some classic suff, Zombie is intense! I do like his other films like the Beyond and House By the Cemetary, but they did get pretty out there.

Blair Witch went from ‘that’s really cool and different’ reactions to ‘meh it sucked’ pretty fast in the public’s mind, but watching it I was riveted. It took a different approach but kept the Lovecraft view of horror that the unseen is scarier than the seen.

    Agree on Aliens.

Put it up with Godfather II in sequels to truly great movies that met or surpassed the standard of the first.

His mouth wrote one his ass couldn’t cash, but Lennox was kind enough to have it deposited in his account.
