was tyson really under trained or did douglas just have his number?.

Douglas was really good that night, I won't take anything away from him

 

Douglas was a good fighter, did not always do his best, but when he fought Tyson he was at his career best. However, Tyson did not train properly and Tyson's corner did not know what the were doing, they were using a condum on Tyson's eye in the corner, no joke! Don King knocked Tyson out. It was a combination of the two.

 

Under-trained. Tyson was known to not train properly for many of his fights. He was having marital problems at the time of the Douglas fight.

For the Douglas fight they had no equipment & no advice to help Tyson !

The Tyson career is the perfect example how to **** up, the almost perfect package for his particular weight class at that time.
