Was Tyson-Seldon a fix?

It was either a fix or Seldon just wanted to get out of their without taking a terrible beating.

 

I knew this was going to be a 1st round KO and bet a friend on mine that he wins if Seldon merely gets out of the first round. All I had to do was watch Bowe vs. Seldon to know that Bruce could not handle the power of a really big puncher. Tyson did nail him with a right on the forehead/top of the head, as well as a left hook to the jaw. Seldon had a weak jaw and clearly did not want to continue. Just a bad matchup in its inception.

Seldon should have been banned from boxing after that fight.

I think it's interesting watching all of the post-prison era tyson fights. He has tons of aggression and is close to peaking physically, but basically walks through shots that wouldn't have landed in the 80s. Bruno in the second fight was tagging him with some good punches, but nobody seemed to take note because tyson just absorbed them.

 

I don't think Mike needed a fight with Bruce Seldon to be fixed

Seldon was scared out of his mind and fought like it.

All you needed to see to know what Tyson was going to do with him.

 

The first knockdown : The punch missed. Seldon took a dive.

The second knockdown : The punch grazed Seldon. Seldon went down. He got up again. Seeing that the referee was going to let him carry on, Seldon did the most ridiculous acting job, faking "jelly legs". The referee then waved it off.

It was awful.
I don't care if people want to call it a "fix" or if others want argue that it was "not fixed", ie. not pre-arranged.
BUT everyone in their right mind should agree that it was FAKE.
It was BULLSH1T.
