I don't think Tyson is overrated at all. For me his fall from the top of the pile was due to his change in style following the split from Kevin Rooney. If you watch his career from the start up to the Spinks fight (under Cus (until his death) and Rooney thereafter) and compare it to his next fights against Bruno 1, Williams and then Douglas his style almost completely changes. It's hard to imagine how he could forget everything he was taught under Cus and Rooney but he changed from the peek-a-boo bob and weave to a straight up more conventional stance under Snowell and others to follow. For me up to the Spinks fight he had the speed, power, combinations, ring smarts etc to give any Heavyweight in history at least a good run for their money.
