I actually won money on Plant but it still feels fugazi tbh.

First, the odds were basically flipped on it's head within a day of being released, which never happens.

Second, is the way Uzcategui fought this fight.

Third, let's not forget the PBC actually had a fixed fight in it's conception with Broner-Molina, where Molina decided to throw like 10 punches the entire fight.

This is 2nd PBC show on FOX and in the first card, 2 of their stars got exposed, one lost and the other should have lost. Maybe Caleb didn't know, but maybe Uzcategui knew a little something.. This is boxing, let's not act like these accusations are so far-fetched.

    I don't think so.

    1. Odds were released with Uzcategui being a clear favorite and Plant prized around +200. With all those predictions online to take Plant at those odds it wasn't a big thing that Plants prize went down to +120. I mean you also took a bet on Plant so what's the deal about the movement? I can't see it. If Plant dropped to be the fav or something but this looks like a normal drop.

    2. Uzcategui fought like he always did BUT he faced an opponent with good movement and defense. Plant is slick and Uzcategui was already outboxed and outpointed by Korobov in the past who is also a very good mover and counterpuncher as we saw a couple of weeks ago.

Uzcátegui must have got his training wrong , there’s no reason to be 3lbs under the limit. He looked extremely flat and had absolutely no game plan. His corner were useless aswell, they only told him in the last round to go all out and try to KO him, was poor all round really.

Uzecat looked as flat as a pancake and fought completely devoid of any fire but I don't think it was fixed. I tell you what will need fixing though - Plant's orbital sockets, nose, jaw and teeth after El Bandera Roja has finished with him. If the shadow of Uzecat's disinterested weight drained shot ghost can have Plant's face looking like a psychotic moose had stomped on it what kind of mess do you think Benavidez's anvil fists are going to make of it?

He obviously had zero game plan which is why he got caught coming in twice and put on his ass

He probably over trained coming in that light

    F him

People have to realize that Uzcategui had been hurt early and repeatedly LOL
Everytime he tried to put it on he was walloped and he actually got put on his ass a couple of times
(The 2nd time he was probably concussed tbf)

Uzcat became a bit reluctant to throw punches until Plant was starting to tire, and even a tired Plant was still dangerous and landing big shots. Uzcat was just the lesser man on the night.

I do rate Benavidez higher than Uzcat, just a better more rounded fighter. More pop on his punches and better hand speed.
Benavidez is green as grass though, and looked terrible against Gavril.

This is a 50/50. Plant will probably be a bit slippery for Benavidez early, but Benavidez could break him down over 12 rounds.
Id probably edge it to be Plant if it is next tbh. Benavidez seems a bit immature as fighter, and if he loses a couple of the early rounds he might get wild. Start winging punches and hitting air.

Plant's even greener (see what Serge did there?)

The only question I have regarding a match up between them two is what round Plant gets brutally KO'd. To be perfectly honest, I'd be shocked if Plant was able to navigate his way to the final bell.
