Ah..no, Jack. Just plain No. A prime Vitali would have obliterated the guy. Early. This statement is literally meaningless. Do you even know what you're trying to say here ?
Vitali beat Chisora with one arm!!!!!!! Munich, Germany - On Sunday morning, WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko visited a hospital in Munich, where Dr. Bernd Kabelka confirmed that a ligament tear in the left shoulder was suffered during Saturday's night twelve round decision win over British boxer Dereck Chisora. No surgery will be needed, said Kabelka. Klitschko admits that he "suddenly lost strength in the left hand" and was forced to use his right for most of the contest. The injury is believed to have occured in the second or third round. Klitschko's trainer, Fritz Zdunek, believes the shoulder damage is a recurrence of the same injury Vitali suffered in the fight with Chris Byrd in 2000. The injury forced Vitali to quit the fight, which gave Byrd a TKO victory in nine. "In the coming days further tests will be carried out. Today's data eliminates the need for surgery," said Kabelka.
this britard is definitely one of the dumbest posters on ESB. He predicted Haye vs Wlad will be like Haye vs Audley.
he was 37 and coming off his defining win. Vitali is 4 years older and action packed with injuries. I could call you a ****** but my guess is you're just a brit.
Probably not.. A younger Vitali with more power, speed and better reflexes would probably have either beaten Chisora 12-0 or stopped him. No matter how big a hater you are, you can't make an argument that this version of Vitali is better than the one who fought Lewis, Johnson and Sanders..
In my opinion his prime was 2002-2004 and 2008-2011 unless he can continue to do things notable beyond which compels me to include the Chisora win in his "second prime."
When a fighter has title, and his performance in a win is debated because he did not ko opponent, it tells me that the guy has had great career. He own, no controvery, but cause he did not ko Chirosa people are thinking he is slipping. Maybe he is, at age 40. But he has kept winning, and Chirosa is one who needs to explain what happened, him and his smacking, spitting, then losing.
