Chisora won 2 or 3 rounds. Maximum 4 if your generous. Vitali won fair and square...

Most of the rounds Chisora did manage to win were in the later rounds....Vitali stamina showed imo. He was huffing a lot I noticed and even when he was doing the post fight interviews he was.

I had it 10-2, so no, not really close, only brittards and Klitschko haters gave him more than 3 rounds.

I believe age is catching up with him. I read that in this fight he threw half as many punches as he did in his previous 8 fights.

Vitali looked very relieved and emotional afterwards, the way he hugged Wlad said it all. He was backpedalling harder than ever before and Chisora just kept coming forward with no respect for his power. Vitali was the more hurt of the two in the fight, the bodyshots were killing him. So much for teaching Delboy a lesson

I had Chisora winning only 1 round but the rounds themselves where closer than any of Klitschko's opponents since he returned.

Vitaly won clearly but I gave Chisora 4 rounds.

It was competitive without being close in a scoring sense.

If anybody says that's a close fight they're ******ed.

the only thing compelling about it is that chisora tried to press the action. he failed, but he tried. It's something an opponent hasn't done on a klitschko brother in a long time. Chisora won 3 rounds maybe.

On the scorecards? Not so much. I gave Chisora 4 rounds and that's likely the most you could've given him but the difference to your average Klit bum was that he was competitive even in the rounds he lost. Vitali got stalked all night and looked uncannily uncomfortable in rounds 8 & 12. Vitali won basically by counter punching on his backfoot and leaning back to avoid Chisora's haymakers.

Excellent perormance Dereck. This was the most competitive HW world championship fight in years.

I saw the first 7 rounds and part of the 8th, and had to leave for work.

Did Chisora start throwing more punches from the 8th on????

I only saw the first 7 full rounds and Chisora did not impress me at all.
Chisora is built like a tank and takes a good shot, but as far as his offense is concerned, he was applying the pressure not letting Vitali get relaxed, but he was'nt pulling the trigger.

How exhausted was Vitali in the latter rounds?
Vitali most certainly was busy in the first half of the fight, while Chisora was pressing but not punching.

Do some of you think Vitali might have punched himself out some with his activity so early, and if so, how did Chisora take advantage?????
