Was Vitali still using PED's when he fought Lewis?

    If you've never had a serious injury you likely don't know just how powerful healers steriods are. Using it to recover from injury is a completely viable explaination.

    Still completely wrong, but there's a big difference between using them to recover from injury and using on an on going basis for performance enhancing.

    No, I doubt he was using them, tho ofc the only question most people will respond to is "do you like/hate the klits", that's what they'll base their answer on :)

    This is Vitali's version of events and you have swallowed it whole. And even if you entirely buy his account - which I don't - he is still a convicted drugs cheat. Bottom-line.

    This is NOT Vitali's version of events.....it was the Olympic Commissions version of events. Their report clearly stated that Vitali admitted to having used them w/i weeks of the test, yet his team urged him to attempt to compete.

    It was viable that the drug had cleared as he was a ONE TIME user. The Commision considered retesting, but thought it unfair that if they made that exception, true CHEATERS would be paying doctors off for excuses time after time.

    You do know Steroid users cycle off before tests, ofcourse he'd be happy to get tested again AFTER HE CYCLED OFF THEM :lol:

    Bull****! How the can Olympic commission determine whether he only used the steroid once? He was tested and found to have PED's in his system. The toxicology test can only determine if there was steroids in his system at the time of the test, not how many times he used them in the past. So I simply do not believe the commission accepted that he only used PED's once.

    ofcourse it matters what steroid he was on..do you know anything about them??there not some sort of serum that makes u superman..as someone posted if he was using them since his teens he wouldnt be fighting today...theres a reason yank heavyweights have a very short shelf life you know

    I like Vitali and have no idea if he used PED's as a pro.

    What I will say is, it's a pretty big coincidence that everyone who's ever been caught taking PED's has a legitimate excuse. I've never heard anyone say "fair enough, I was cheating" - it was always because of an injury or something they mistakenly took as part of a supplement etc.

    No, I don't know a lot about steroids because I'm not a disgraceful drugs cheat. It is enough for me to know Vitali was caught using a steroid that was banned by the Olympic Commission. Case-****ing-closed as far as I'm concerned.

    Most likely yes.

    Vitali had to do proper testing just ONCE. And failed.
