Why would that mean it is Naz's best win?? :? I was ringside for a few of Naz's fights, but as I have said, I think Bungu was Naz's best win for 2 reasons: quality of opponent + quality of performance. MO
OK, let's see who knows more about Robinson then, you tell me then, why have I been hard on him?? I'm waiting.
I don't think it is his best win....Kelley was his best win I think But winning in front of a hostile crowd adds more substance to a victory
I know, what a bizarre statement to make, that obviously cannot be true, a UK boxing fan went to see the most exciting British fighter of the 90s, that's got unbelievable lie written all over it atsch
I can't give it Kelley as I don't think Kelley was a great performance. Naz was very sloppy against Kelley, against Bungu he was near flawless (well, as flawless as Naz could be, still a little careless but very dominant).
Not all, but a hell of a lot of what you fed us all about Robinson we could all have found out off BoxRec, but thats not what a forum is about....you don't have to win every debate you know
Best win versus best performance can be different things He overcame more to beat Kelley in that fight than he did to dominate Bungu
Why?? To be honest, this has the impression of "I say white, you say black", as I know how much you adore attacking moi. What are your reasons for saying Robinson was more than just a good honest pro who held the least prestigious major belt for a short period?
I generally attack you based on your posting style and condesending tone, not on you as a boxing fan It was a minor world title but he still won it and defended it enough times to gather a more than decent fanbase
As I have said continually on this thread, for me: BEST WIN = QUALITY OF OPPONENT + QUALITY OF PERFORMANCE. For me, the Kelley fight had quality of opponent but not quality of performance. That was not Naz at his best IMO. The Bungu fight had both. So did the Johnson fight which makes it a valid choice too as I said earlier, but I think Bungu was a slightly better fighter than Johnson, and Naz was more dominant on the night. Tremendous 1-punch KO. This is all becoming pretty futile. I think Bungu was his best win, and I'm not changing my mind, I've saw all of his fights and that's my opinion. If I'm changing no-one's mind, fair enough.
But how does that mean he was anything more than a good honest pro? Watching his fights, researching his opponents, looking at his career - he was not nor ever was a world class boxer. He was never on the same level as Bungu, Johnson, Kelley, Medina, Vasquez - therefore I think Nallege was wrong to say Robinson was maybe his best win ahead of Bungu. For me there are a lot of Hamed's wins that were better than Robinson.
Boxing isn't a mathematical equation!! It isn't about lists and numbers and percentages either Nobody is asking you to change your mind.......just try to conside people who disagree with you with a bit more decorum
