Was Wade the best competition America had to offer Golovkin at MW?

Golovkin has already defeated Korobov as an Amature...will give Korobov a chance to atone....

It's not about the belt. It's about the opponents faced.

I remember the days when the USA had the best to offer in boxing. Those days are now long gone.

So who out of Wade, Lemieux, Murray, Monroe, Geale, Macklin or Stevens is better than these 90's middleweights: McCallum, Tony, RJJ, Nunn, show me a highlight showcasing their defense/counter in comparison to James Toney or their skill compared to McCallum, or the speed/power of RJJ. James Toney went up to heavyweight and has yet to be knocked out, who out of any of those guys can do that, name him?

Even if GGG has a chance of beating them, his best wins all have 0 chance of beating those 4.

McCallum has been in the ring with a bigger puncher than GGG in Julian Jackson, so he could at least go the distance with GGG, and guess what he is better than a prime Ouma, yet when Ouma was past prime he still gave GGG his toughest fight. Toney also has a monster chin and a defense way beyond anything GGG has ever faced, a defense that is better than any current fighter in any weight division except for Loma/Ward/Rigondeaux, he would 100% go the distance with GGG, and fight till the end. That's what we want to see, not these guys that literally give up after their first taste of GGG's power.

The best you guys can muster is how we only like a certain race, or color, or the country they live in, yet you don't see us popping up on threads and bagging Fury, Lomachenko, Kovalev. Why do you think that is, why aren't we making the same kind of threads about those 3.

yes but weak belts lead to weak defences against laergely unknowns for nearly a decade like someone I could mention.

You beat me to it. The brits are ****ing on america at the moment. The only thing that might save them is if they don't elect another cuck for president and elects Trump instead.

Point was what division has to offer and it hasn't changed a one bit. Name a middleweight who faced Mccallum, Nunn, Toney and Roy at MW? There are none.

Toney challenged himself at mw, he had couple of good challenges. Was the division so much better? Probably a little but just little or else he would have three times more good wins at mw.

I don't know how much you read or how does your brain works but just to make clear, i wrote we haven't seen a mw like Golovkin before. That doesn't meen absolute best h2h just that there hasn't been fighter with his skillset before. I could say the same thing about Toney or Jones jr. They all have unique skillset and style of fighting. Vale?

You said the competition is more or less the same, which is bs. None of the ones you mentioned could beat any of those 4 I mentioned. And most importantly they don't have the chin to fight GGG, one decent punch from GGG makes all his current opponents **** themselves, and also none have great defenses either which was my point. The competition is not more or less the same in the last 25 years.

    Jacobs comes instantly to mind.

IMO Demetrius Andrade would pose an interesting challenge to GGG.

Wonder how many rounds total it would take Gennady to get Jacobs and Quillin out of there on the same night??

    I put the over/under at 7.5 rounds
