Salido had the same weight advantage on loma that loma will have on Rigo. Many people are saying a Rigo win wont be impressive because of the weight advantage.

Not exactly a cherry pick. It was an ambitious move that proved a bit too ambitious for a green blue chip prospect. If it was a true "cherry pick", there were a LOT of easier opponents that fit the bill who had were not former world champions with over 50 professional fights.

It would be if it was indeed his 2nd "pro" fight which we all know it wasn't.

People also remember that Mikey and Gamboa were pros for years before facing him.

None of them fought a Siri level fighter in their second fight after 5 months as a pro.

Was a very tough fight for an up and comer. However, unless I am mistaken, he asked for it. They had time to study tapes, etc, or?

I had Lomachenko beating Salido. Lomachenko had to fight Salido and the referee both! Salido did not fight within the rules of boxing and had the worst referee in boxing, Lawrence Cole! It was still a split decision with Salido's judges in Texas...................Lomachenko will knock Salido out if he can get Salido back into the ring..................so far Salido has refused to fight him..............

It’s funny how you guys are also leaving Loma’s age out of this scenario. He’s far older and mature than any up and coming fighter that you guys are trying to compare him to. Not everybody goes pro when they’re almost 30 lmao. Everyone else does it when they’re more like 20. What are you clowns trying to glorify here?

This thread is an epic fail just like if Loma were to actually challenge himself and fight Mickey Garcia or Crawford because we all know those are L’s. Stop trying to not only overhype Loma but Salido in the process as well.

If you want to give the balls award to someone, it should go to someone like Lebin who got KTFO against Charlo as a 22 year old. Not as a 27-28 year old. You guys are too drunk off koolaid. If Loma was 20 ,I’d give him credit. Try using context when you dudes make fanboy arguments.
