The first three rounds were close but we cannot avoid that the 4th was a 10-7.

Sad thing is that after the knockdowns, it was going to always be a Whyte win if he could have stayed on his feet til the end, even if he ended up losing every round. Lets hope its a fair result in the rematch

Thought the first three rounds there was not a lot in it, depends who you favour, dominant fourth round, KO 5th.

Sasha was in every round bar the 4th

Listening to SKY you would think Whyte was displaying the most amazing skill set known to man before he nodded off

Actually Povetking was doing better in the rounds, except for the KD in the 4th. And there was like 5-6 illegal low blow from Whyte, but somehow referee did not see them(we all know why exactly). Now i expect even stacker cards against Povetkin.

Let's see if old man Povetkin can nick another victory against Whyte.

Would have to watch but had Whyte winning the early rounds but far from dominating. Looked like he was going to get the stoppage in the round before last but the bell let Povetkin recoup and he landed a beautiful fight ender the next round.

Had Whyte winning due to the knockdowns but I had Povetkin winning a couple of rounds. The two flash knockdowns didn't tell the whole story of the fight but Whyte didn't seem particularly uncomfortable with Povetkins work. That's not to say he wasn't effective himself but on that day in that fight it was the World Class pedigree and boxing ability that was the difference.

Sasha didn’t care about winning rounds and didn’t plan on going the distance. He knows his legs are gone and was setting up the KO from the get go.

Whyte has always been susceptible to anything underneath or up the middle. Sasha started banging the left hook to the body hoping he could get Whyte to start dropping and separating his hands. Once he did Sasha went up the middle with the uppercut instead of the hook to the body and it was a wrap.

Povetkin is probably going to have to try to get the KO even quicker on Saturday to win. If his legs were gone last year and the he was hospitalized with COVID and is 6 months older and went through another training camp, I can’t imagine there is anything left in those bad boys.

First 3 rounds were close but i swung the first round towards Povetkin and the next 2 towards Whyte. The 4th round was utter domination in Whytes favor.... and then he got sparked out

I gave the early rounds to Povetkin for his bodywork which was totally ignored

Povs legs look done though, Whyte only had to touch him for him to go down.

Only way he might had won eddie fighter always was only stoppage.
Eddie kids must be stopped in distance. Otherwise fight is lost on cards.

Wholly agree. He was trying to wear Whyte down with those hooks to the body, waiting for the moment when Whyte starts protecting himself from them (to the detriment of his chin).

I think it makes for a great few rounds tomorrow, if AP can muster enough energy
