Whyte didn't seem his usual self during the build up, pretty lethargic, missed the 1st presser, and during interviews and also the same lethargic performance in the ring last night. Will be interesting to see if he was 100% fit for this fight, maybe he had covid or something

You never know maybe nerves caught up... But the look on face after round 2 was like he was gassed. Both Fury and Whyte looked trash

Yes. He just didn't think he was paid enough to do the promotion.

He looked same as he always looks.
Plodding forward swinging wildly, gasping for breath, fouling to his heart's content. Same old Dillian.

Difference is, he was in with a world class fighter and had a neutral referee who wasn't there to help him win

he didn't look like he was in good health to me, let alone fully fit

was unsteady on his feet going back to the corner between rounds a couple of times, reminded me a bit of Povetkin post covid

Put any domestic level plodder in with a peak elite world champion, and he's likely to be on unsteady feet after a couple of rounds too. It's a serious game, this boxing.

Povetkin post Covid and 41 years old was probably on unsteady feet before the fight even started!

Yes he was, he looked as fit as he has ever looked, and anyone saying he wasn’t is making excuses.

Let us not start finding excuses for a fighters performance, if you are in the opposite corner on fight night you are fit to go, if not you should not be there.

Fury decisively beat Whyte, the opponent put before him, he did his job.

I must admit I get frustrated to hear post fight, that for example Whyte only beat Povetkin because the latter had been ravaged with Covid blah blah blah, it might or might not be true, however nothing of this nature should take away the winning glory the victor deserves, the victors opponent, their team, their medical experts etc can say no the fighter is not in good enough shape and withdraw prior to the bout.

Whyte looked like a multiple-time Mr. Olympian.

    Or was that his opponent?

    Tough say...

He looked exactly like he always looks. He was just in there with someone much better than he is.

Was it really Dillian Whyte who fought last night? Maybe it was Johnny Depp.

The push made him go down, otherwise he'd be standing

Yet again the result of last nights fight between Fury v Whyte showed once more that sparring stories mean absolutely F all !
