It wasn't Fury's best shot either. He went for speed over power there...the shot was there to be taken and he took it quickly. If he had planted better and swing from a bit further back, the window might have closed, so he took it when it was there. And given the effect it had on Whyte (***** Street), I believe a full-on, legs bent and feet planted, full amplitude swing uppercut would have had Dillian leaving on a stretcher. Maybe to the morgue.
It may be just as well that Fury chose to nudge Whyte over instead of taking the free shot that was on offer.
Watching the re-play today Fury's shot didn't land fully clean either, it was partially glancing. Had it landed flush I think Whyte would have been more comotosed and proper out cold, similar to Povetkin's peach of a punch.
Funny when the carnival looking fat man come in and makes you look silly the "they look off" threads appear. Wlad,Wilder,Whyte.. Reality is they are fighting a one in a generation fighter and he is levels above them..
