    I do not think it was,

    he had a big cut on his ear that was bleeding which caused the assumption that the blood was coming from deeper in the ear,

    if it was busted it would of been confirmed by doctors after the fight, it wasn't therefore I assume it wasn't busted.

    not that you need a busted eardrum to be concussed and have your equilibrium thrown off, that's just a result of getting punched in the side of the head.

    Even if it was Fury was just better that night. Wilder was heavier and slower then usual.

    I could clearly see the blood coming out from the ear canal

    also he skipped the post fight press conference most likely due to the ear drum damages it was rumoured after the fight that he was rushed to hospital

    A person I know met Wilder last day. He told me he was at distance of 6 feet from him, nobody around, and he yelled at him : "Hey big dosser!" but Wilder didnt react. Therefore I thought his drum was gone because if it worked Wilder would have knocked him out for sure.

    Even Excuse Squad himself admitted it wasn't broken


    'Wilder has since said that he did not suffer a burst eardrum, and it did not affect his balance.

    He said: "My eardrum didn’t get busted. Usually, when your eardrum gets busted, you know, it affects certain things. It was just some type of scratch or opening inside of my ear. That was about it."

    And Excuse Squad's manager Shirley Winkle (aka grandpa from Texas Chainsaw Massacre) also confirmed it wasn't busted as well

    D has poor balance at the best of times and I believe he burnt up a lot of nervous energy very early in that fight as the realization of what was happening to him was dawning on him (ie. his worst nightmare). He almost looked like he was in shock to me and if even Excuse Squad of all people isn't trying to use it as excuse, and he's reels out more excuses in a day than he's fought bums, then I very much doubt it was broken.

    I am surprised he didn’t jump on the busted ear drum excuse it would have been less embarrassing then “but muh suit”

    maybe he doesn’t want to let people know how bad Fury hurt him I heard he had to have brain scans

    also I thought wilder looked scared in the ring his eyes gave it away

    I thought it was concluded his eardrum was not busted? Wilder was simply too heavy coming into the fight and he did not look focused at all. No excuses because Fury is clearly the best heavyweight in the world but I think we would have saw a better fight if Wilder wasn't carrying the extra weight
