I don't know what was wrong with Waldimir, if he was drugged, if he eat too many green apples, if he partied too hard the night before, but something was wrong, and it wasn't the hard fight Brewster was giving him.
C'mon... I tend to lean towards some sort of illness... but obviously you aren't familiar with panic attacks. A person who suffers panic attacks in that manner doesn't operate at the level that Wlad has since he was in the ams. There would be a HUGE documented history of this disorder with him. Wlad broke out into a full blown panic attack... by way of exhausted heavy breathing starting in the 2nd round of a fight that he was completely dominant in.. and hadn't even taken a punch yet? Then...he had this "panic attack" for the rest of the night until he passed out at the hospital?:huh Have you ever seen someone have a real panic attack before? My cousin has struggled with panic attacks since childhood and they look NOTHING like what Wlad was going through that night. If Wlad had slide under the ropes and ran out of the arena... then you might have a point.
FFS...get a grip...Wlads not the most reliable source on this, all fighters make excuses for their loses to keep their confidence. What you describe is same as the Louis Schmeling bouts...louis looked well drugged in first fight then destroyed him in rematch....or Pac Morales, Pac looked withdrawn in first encounter then KOed him in both rematches. I doubt there is a phantom drugger on the loose...just fighters having a bad day..... :huh but the Louis fight did look very suspicous... :think
A fighter saying he was drugged isn't a rare occurrence in boxing. Tarver, Foreman and many more have said similar things when they look lethargic and lost. I don't think Wlad was, though I think his team did a good job of protecting his image after the fight. I think he just panicked, even though he was in control, and as Brewster started to catch him later in the fight, it became uncontrollable. It wasn't the first time Wlad has reacted badly to being hit and, as much as I hate to say it, I don't think it'll be the last. I don't it's really fair to Brewster to constantly bring this up though. He was the better man on the night and you have to give him praise for that. Wlad wasn't at his best, no, but Brewster was part of the reason why. As for the drugged theory, I don't think there's any point in mentioning that. It would be very unlikely. Weirdly, I was looking for some information on the reasons offered as to why he was lethargic (http://www.google.co.uk/search?clie...rceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest) and found a thread on Stormfront. It's the third link. ****s. Without Steward, Wlad wouldn't be the great heavyweight he is.
Wladimir did his usual routine of when his opponent gets to him, he goes down like a straight ***** without tryin to fight. It happened in with Sanders, Purity, and YES, Brewster.
I mean, it's not THE FIRST time. Damn, this guy acts like a straight ***** in almost every fight. ****, when he gets hit, A STRAIGHT *****. It's the Klitschko fanatics only claim..."he's never been knocked out cold." No ****, he goes down like a straight ***** like when he went down without getting hit against Purrity, and the second knockdown against Sanders. He can't deal with ****. He's not a full man.
Outclassed? Are you high? Did you even watch the fight? Outclassed is what Brewster was in the rematch. :deal Wladimir gassed or had some sort of high/low blood sugar thing that can cause blackouts. I don't know that anyone drugged him or spiked his water or whatever but clearly something was wrong.
Man, what the **** are you talkin about? Two fights previously, Wlad went down the second time without even getting hit by Sanders, and then was worthless when he came out the next round. He just covered up like a scared ***** and then fell to his knees. Was he drugged in that fight? What about when Purrity was coming after Wlad, didn't land ANYTHING clean, and Wlad just fell down for the KO. Was he drugged in that fight? Man, **** off with this bull****. Wlad gave Brewster everything he had, which was easy considering Brewster didn't move his ****in head, and Brewster took it, and proceeded to beat Wlad's ass. Wlad just pulled the usual get out of a fight as soon as possible **** that he usually pulls when he sees that his opponent isn't going to stop whuppin his ass. Wlad has NO HEART. It ain't even his chin as much as it is his heart. He's a ***** ass coward. Take that to the bank.
What a surprise, a thread about your least favorite boxer & here you are posting in it. I'm shocked to see you here. :rofl Dude, get a life & concentrate on fighters you like, not the ones you're jealous of.
How do you expect for anyone to take you serious when you insist that Wlad was drugged. That's ****in ridiculous. Who drugged him? Brewster? Why the **** would it even be necessary to drug Wlad? He just got the beating of his life, before he gave up by falling to his knees and not getting knocked out like a man, two fights earlier against Sanders. What exactly would be the benefit of drugging him? Did Brewster go on to be some kind of superstar? You're an idiot.
this question will never be properly answered and has lingered ever since the fight. i'm no big wlad fan (respect him and realize that he has some limitations), but i watched that fight and he was bizzarely fatigued and it appeared there was something wrong with him (he could've been sick, hyperventilated,....who knows). he was stumbling around and looking almost out on his feet before much real meaningful by brewster was landed (tho brewster did land after that started). unlike vs sanders where he was caught great with some wicked shots to his soft chin. wlad had an incredible offensive output to that point and suppose that could've been the reason but he's thrown a lot in other fights and not looked nearly like that
