Wasn't Froch much faster than we have seen before? and how did he do that?

Bute has very quick hands..but when your getting beat into retreat like that doesn't really matter nor will it be noticable. Bute looked like he had gone 10 rounds after the first.

Don't think I can agree with this.

You can't massively improve a boxers speed. For example, Froch will NEVER throw punches as fast as say Dirrell. However, there are drills that can improve speed.

Nobodys saying all his punches were arm punches. it was clear he loaded up when he had bute in bad spots instead of throwing bombs all the time he used lighter punches which were faster.

exactly. . . when they were in the center of the ring, and when he stunned Bute first, they were short, quick right hands. . not full arm punches, but definitely not a full straight right fully turned into. . .

and then when he got him on the ropes, he put more ass into the punches. .

and lol at this noob thinking you can't improve a boxer's speed. . . you can: 1.) get your boxer to throw quicker punches, and 2.) use many drills to improve hand speed such as resistance bands. . .

but like the poster before me said, you'll never be able to get a boxer like froch, to have the speed of a dirrell. . .

I think he has improved his boxing skill a notch. After what he has been through, this is no surprise. He would still lose to Ward. Questionmark for Dirrell.

  7. It was obviously PEDs. Probably the same PEDs that Khan used to make his chin stronger for the Maidana fight.

yet another aspect. . . he timed his punches very well. . he let Bute lead for most of hte fight, and then came back with perfectly timed short, straight right hands. . .

He was allowed to land quick punches because Bute didn't know how to defend, move and adjust.

you can increase your hand speed over a long period of time and only marginally . . . you cannot go from Margocheato to Pac/PBF or even Baldimar in a few months.
