I didnt say it was the ONLY reason. But it was a factor. Yes that was a factor as well. Had team Klitschko felt that Sam and his team were more of a threat, they would have takin a tune-up. Team Klitschko liked what they saw in Peter and his team... they talked about it and went forward. To say that 1 team doesnt look at who is in another team is wrong. Good fighter with good teams look at everything When we are in camp, we study the fighter and his trainer as well. Trainers teach there fighter a certain way. You can learn alot by studying the Whole team, not just the fighter
Vitali delivers one of the most one sided beat downs, without knocking out the opponent that is humanely possible in a boxing ring, and the starter of this thread is not impressed. Unless you have an agenda or are a hater, then you would have to be blind to not be impressed by that, especially after 4 years out the ring.
:good :good :good It was an amazing performance. History making performance. Vitali coming back after 4 years to win, also the Brothers as champs at the same time. If you weren't impressed, you might want to ask yourself if you are a true boxing fan
No, because that's not a fact. Having said that, I still don't know what Vitali has done to earn "extraordinary prestige" or an "everlasting legacy". :think
No way...Valuev would be a victim. Good news is that Vitali will continue (he said that on RTL, the German TV station). If Valuev is next it'll be a massive beatdown for him. Vitali throws far too many punches and if he wants to he throws bombs with his right and all of his punches are accurate. No way in hell that Valuev has a bit of a chance. I like Valuev, he's a nice person, but he really shouldn't box against Vitali.
i am one that thought i could def see his rust and age.... that being said that makes it even MORE impressive.... because guess what? say what you want about peter, nobody else in the division would have dominated and made him quit like that... and vitali did it EVEN WITH all this. oh... and scared to mix it up??? huh??? vitali stands right in front of people throwing his punches, if he fought 'scared' hed fight like his brother.... not quite sure how you think you have a point there.... and even if he DID fight tentative (and what elite fighters dont fight a bit tentative? hence... defence?) i can forgive a 37 year old who hasnt fought in what... almost 50 months and fighting the biggest puncher in the division, at being a little cautious while hes dominating the crap out of him.
you are right. Glass Jaw Haye would have been knocked out by a jab in about the 4th round or so. Haye has no Chin.
Bill Belichek could run Peter's camp and it wouldn't matter. He was going to get his ass whooped regardless. Vitali is on another level.
