Jyri Kjäll, just a lot of bad luck and bad managers. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=26187&cat=boxer#
probly sounds weird but i always think that louis collozo could achieve so much more maybe cause of the dodgy hatton decision he didnt
I just don't see how anyone can seriously put Floyd Mayweather on a list of wasted talents. Granted, he could have fought some of the best welterweights in recent years, but despite that, he is still making more money per fight than any other boxer. I would say that is maximizing your talents when the sport you are engaged in is called PRIZE FIGHTING. I hate that he hasn't fought the likes of Mosely, Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Berto, Clottey, et al. and may never fight them, but seeing that he is still a future HOFer in spite of it, I can't say he's a wasted talent. P.S. For the guy who has RJJ on his list, I hope that was a maaaajor typo:nut
let me rephrase: a career of fighting sparing partners, except 3 guys(castillo, corales, judah) most other guys fit that sparing partner mold (at least for floyd) JMM to small, DLH past his prime, Hatton overhyped brawler ect.. all im saying is that floyd is to good to not be fighting the cottos or mosleys of the worlds, hence, hes wasting his talents.
Zab - it pains me to see him as a gatekeeper. This lad is one of the most skilled fighters that I have ever seen, just a shame he doesn't seem to have the right mindset. Yuri Romanov - perhaps wasted isn't the right word, but I would have expected him to progress further than he has, given his ability. Paul Spadafora - another solid fighter who could have possibly become a two weight world champion if he had kept on the straight and narrow.
Yeah, but under those accomplishments do you think hes done enough to make it to the HoF? He could of been a millionaire too if he had done what he had to do, if he would of fought Campbell and won he would of no doubt got the fight with JMM.
Michael Nunn Hector Camacho Riddick Bowe Zab Judah Ricardo Williams Ike Ibeabuchi Tony Ayala Rickey Womack Francisco Bojado
I'd say Pryor's managerial problems messed up the fights with Duran and Leonard, however his cocaine addiction messed up the longevity of his career.
Hmmmmmmm, Let me think........ Michael 'second 2' Nunn Kirkland 'The Gifted One' Laing George & Tony Collins - The fighting brothers of Yateley Marlon Thomas Anders Hugger Ali Oubaali Ajose Olusegun Kennedy McKinney Del Bryan Carl 'Bobo' Johanneson Dean Francis Guillermo Jones Mitch 'Blood' Green 'Terrible' Terry Norris Greg Page Allan Green Angel Manfredy Ron Lyle Richard Evatt Marvin Stone Paul Harvey Wally Swift jr Daren Dyer Paul 'Scrap Iron' Ryan Michael 'Shaka' Ayers Val Golding .....all spring to mind!
i say gerald mcclellan and tommy morrison. if the g-man didnt have that injury he could've ruled the MW divison for a long time. and morrison, well.. i think you guys can be the judge of that lol.
