im a fan of cory My former friend and sparring partner is best friends with cory i use to talk to cory I actually reccommended him to fight jermain taylor and he did and i believe was robbed that fight he boxed the lights out of taylor... yea hes boring at times but he beat deandre latimore that fight was pretty entertaining his win over zab judah mayorga and i believe he beat taylor... Id like to see cory fight manny pacquio or floyd mayweather but hes a slick boxer who can make anyone look bad thats why not alot of fighters wanna fight him
Cory Spinks is actually a pretty entertaining fighter to watch nowadays, I guess that's due to his legs not being as bouncy as they use to be.
Cory was supost to fight Carlos Molina, Molina even had a bout contract to fight him. then don king was trying to sign dzinzurik, he flew him to Vegas to talk about them doing buisness together, Surgi wants to fight spinks so they hung the fight infront of him so he would sign, which I don't think he did. there has also been rumors that spinks isnt in shape, and is haveing trouble makeing weight. He has till april before he will lose the belt, so times ticking.
Dzinziruk is in contract limbo right now where he claims he's a free agent but Universum claims he's still represented by them, so anyone who signs a fight with Dzin would be stepping on a land mine. It would be nice for Don King to get him a fight. He lets all of his fighters sit on the shelf for far too long these days. Guys like Santos, Guillermo Jones, Travis Simms, Spinks have only been fighting once a year, which is ridiculous.
