To be honest, I'd actually like to see Pacquiao fight him at 147 just to see how much greater Pacquiao can be. If he failed, then he gave it a good go at 147 and could do a lot more at 140. If he actually won at 147, that'd be friggin amazing. oh well

I would not advise it because when you go down in weight I dont think his punch resistance will be the same. i.e. Cotto at 140lbs.

what I would say is that this fight should take place at 144 or 145 not below 144lbs.

What you reckon? Pac can weigh in around 143 just 1lb under the limit and Mosley dead on the weight but I would prefer it if it were at 145lbs or just 147lbs and done with the catchweight.

 

Forrest was a big 147 who caught Shane was a monstruous uppercut and several right hands before - and you even yourself mentioned a headbutt. And Mosley got straight back up. Pac has less than 20% chance of beating Mosley in my book if he goes for the knockout. Sugar Shane has a cast iron jaw, speed and power to put Pacquiao to sleep.

All of you Pac fans, Roach & Pac himself no that because they are trying to get him to drop to a catchweight he could never possibly make unless he had Oscar De La Hoya levels of energy in the ring that night.
