I would not advise it because when you go down in weight I dont think his punch resistance will be the same. i.e. Cotto at 140lbs. what I would say is that this fight should take place at 144 or 145 not below 144lbs. What you reckon? Pac can weigh in around 143 just 1lb under the limit and Mosley dead on the weight but I would prefer it if it were at 145lbs or just 147lbs and done with the catchweight.
