    Bektemir Melikuziev is about to enter the ring right now. He is a youth olympic champion, youth world champion, world silver medalist and asian champion and still only 19. he is one of the favourites to win gold at the rio olympics.

    this is his wsb debut, he is exciting a big puncher and aggresive, i suggest watching him:good

    Missed the first round but he clearly won 2nd and 3rd, last 2 were close. But he gets hit a little too easy.

    the first round was his best and most dominant:lol:

    his hands down style doesnt work away from home with hometown decisions, and the crowd cheering every time the russian was missing while he was slipping punches didnt help

    I was only half watching because I was busy but I did feel the commentary seemed biased in the Russian's favour from what I did see of it.

    the wsb commentry is funny, its like when they sense a robbery they change there tune to make it seem fair:lol:

    in the first round the commentry was all for the uzbek and he was shocked when the russian got the round, in the 2nd it was pretty much the same

    by the 3rd he must have taught, there just going to give the russians all the rounds ,better make it look like he deserves them

    Thanks for the link. Worked great.

    Yeah, I thought Bektemir lost pretty clearly. He was really beat up at the end. He has no defense at all and needs A LOT of schooling. He isn't going to win the gold in anything with zero defense. He threw punches from his waistband all night and got hit with a hundred counters.

    The guy who beat him (Alexander Agafonov) looks like the next Felix Sturm. Similar style. And he had all the girls there rooting for him. I think Russia will probably get behind him.

    Because he's from Russia. He's a good boxer. He's handsome. He just beat the youth olympic champion, youth world champion, world silver medalist and asian champion. There were a bunch of pretty young girls there rooting for him. And he'd be the type of guy you could market.

    Lots of reasons.
