Watch this just pisses me off again!

It was close. Just very glad they didn't give the decision to Dirrell. The guy is a joke. Stunk the whole fight out. Then pulls all that Dr Shaw High BS. He could be one of the best but he is mentally weak. I cannot see much of a future for Dirrell unless he visits the Wizard of Oz for a new heart.

 

Froch beat Dirrell, get over it:good

 

How anyone could have Dirrell up by more than a round is beyond me

 

I was a froch hater when i saw this fight and was rooting for dirrell.

I think Froch was lucky to win but Dirrell was so negative I can see why Froch got the nod. Froch landed more shots if you look at the punch stats: Dirrell's blows were cleaner. That's fine. But as soon as Froch closed range Dirrell held and held and ducked his head below waist level and presented the back of his head. If you do that I think the other guy is perfectly justified in cracking you in the back of the head. Look at Johnson vs Green and no one complains about that - and rightly.Turning away like that and ducking like that is illegal. Deal with it. Having said that Dirrell is clearly the more fluid, skilled boxer, but your defence cannot be falling over and holding. That's not skill that's taking the easy option. Dirrel felt Froch's strength and wanted none of it. He was negative as a result, and that is why he lost.

 

After reading all the whining, I finally forced myself to watch this fight.

It was no robbery you ****in bellends. All the way through, it was way too scrappy with not enough shots landed from either fighter to make anything clear.

 

Most people think Dirrell won but robbery is a bit much, some rounds he did absolutely nothing but skip around the ring. If he's too stupid to realise that you have to press the matter a little bit more to win a guys title off him in his own home town, even though hometown decisions have been the way things are since boxing started, then he's only got himself to blame. That vidoe is a load of bollocks too, I could chop 3 minutes of Froch success out of a 36 minute fight to make it look like he dominated too.

Dirrell was constantly falling over and ran round the ring at stages. Froch definitely got hit by the cleaner punches, but it was close. Not a robbery in my opinion.

 

ergardless of what you think about Dirrell's Negatively he still landed the more clean effective blows and that's what scoring fights is supposed to be based on. There no guidelines that I'm aware of that say your supposed to penalize a guy for fighting a spoiler type of fight.
