I disagre, although Usman Ahmed (for all his awkwardness) is nothing special Ashley Sexton might just have what it takes to go far. He's fast, powerful and young. The guy has already made his dedication clear as hes prepared to travel around the world to get top qaulity sparring, hes even asked Donaire if there was a possibility of them sparring such is the guys dedication:good
Sexton looks a good prospect.Lots of work to do, but he's got good balance and seems a natural aggressive counterpuncher.
You hit the nail on the head when you said Ahmed was a durable opponent. He took an absolute pasting off Edwards a while back and lasted 12; the guy's a really tough cookie. That was some right hand to put him away like that. "No count necessary!"
A very nice counter right produces what a result that will likely remain one of the more aesthetically pleasing one punch ko's of the entire year. And Sexton does seem to have a nice blend of speed and poise. Good stuff all the way around. Thanks for sharing.:good
I thought I had seen this KO before but did some research and looks like this fight just took place on Jan 22nd. The KO looks horrifyingly similar to a KO once posted here where neck snaps in similar fashion. German or British boxers, can't remember. The KO'd fighter doesn't fall on his back but rather collapses in a sitting position, legs crossed, looking paralyzed.
