I expected something mildly depressing, but it exceeded that. I'd never expect to see Holyfield quit on his stool in the third round after getting rocked by a journeyman. I really hope he'll move onto something else, but he doesn't seem to want to.
One would hope that boxers that reach the levels he has in his career would pay attention to his and Tyson's and whoever else's mistakes regarding money and learn from them. No reason he should be broke after the fights he's been in and the career he's had.
When I think of fiscal responsiblity, I think of professional boxers. So many shining examples, I mean I could go on and on listing them all...
The list gets a lot shorter though when you get into the tax brackets Holyfield was in. Mother****er should be sitting on his own island somewhere tending to those 18 kids of his instead of trading headbutts with Sherman Williams on a cold night in West by god Virginia.
If the man really broke, let him fight to get that money, how else u want him to get paid, he's lacing up, not u
Hey man, Evander can do what he wants. I bet you didn't watch the fight though. I think you'd be saying otherwise. The man is DONE. He ****ing quit. Evander Holyfield quit. It's just not right. He was getting hurt in there. Whatever damage he sustains now, whoooooo. He is in serious danger.
I did not watch. The way SNV mangled him was enough for me to know he would be ruined before long. Those six knockdowns the Sugar man dealt out, just by accident...brutal.
Obviously everyone is ruined after they tangle with The Greatest. Maybe it's better you don't watch. It hurts me to think about it. Apologies, I don't know who posted this originally: This content is protected
