I see no way Pacquiao can beat Mayweather or how the rationale can be made..

Which makes it even more frustrating as a Floyd fan..

Can somebody please tell me HOW and WHY Pacquiao beats Floyd... Just want other opinions..

I'm talking the skills and tools Pacquiao has to beat Floyd.. Logically...

Save the "stfu *****.. pacquiao great, floyd scared" incoherent Pacquiao fan comments...

Because Pacquiao is good and better and popular and the best .

Floyd has lost his "Urge" and went on "Vacation" the "Coward."

And Pacquiao beat the people that Floyd beat, but faster, so obviously he is better.

    speed, combinations, activity, points

he could just work activity not looking to hurt floyd get those flashy combos off for 12 rounds and take the points win - in which case mayweahter will need to get offensive and id love to see how that pans out

yes on paper mayweather UD's pacquiao and that's likely the case if the fight did happen, but there's so much that could happen...

In boxing terms.. and I'm talking theoretically. Obviously there's physical and mental elements that can change anything (a lucky punch, slip, virus, mental issues)..But I'm talking based on EVIDENCE and predictions

Nahhhhhhhhh. Mayweather BEEN showed he can be offensive. Are you talking about the combinations that don't land and Pacquiao will be afraid to throw again after round 7????

He's gonna be shot after round 7.

Pacquiao will be like DLH when he fought Floyd. Throwing his flurrys, but missing, and Floyd will just pick his shots, and win a UD.

some judges seem to favor "work rate" over all....even if you are swinging at air

one thing i have learned over the years, is that whenever a match is left to the judges, you never know what will happen

Pac's going to throw a thousand punches apparently and just walk through Floyd's shots, I think that's the general view from Pac fans. While Mayweather stands there like a statue.

hardly the same fighter. by that time, raoch has noticed the oscar could not pull the trigger anymore. and oscar is moving froward in straight line thus making it easy for floyd to avoid those pressure. in pacquiao, he would get all the angles and movements he never had ever since he started fighting.

ur on something if u think Pac's gonna unleash and hit nothing but air. Floyd's defense is not the same against a southpaw, and manny will work him to the body.

how does manny beat Floyd? by beign manny pacquiao. use movement, feints, go to the body, work combinations. Can Floyd last 12 rounds against Pac without getting hurt?

Lemme ask you this. What has Floyd shown agaisnt a southpaw that would make you believe he could beat Manny Pacquiao?

Pac really only has a punchers chance in this fight. Even Pac fans know weather they want to admit it or not, that Pac skills are not on the same level as Floyds. It's not impossible for Pac to win, every fighter can be beat considering the right day, night or time, but because Pac is accustom to beating fighters that engage with him. The big question is not how Floyd is gonna hold up to Pac offense ( considering he's fought pressure fighters the majority of his career) it's how Manny is gonna deal with one of the most defensive skill boxers to probably ever to do it. Manny is not use to fighting guys like this, and part of the blame should go to his trainer. Roach has been around the sport for sometime, and I'm sure he's been aware of Mayweather dominance since he made a name for himself. Wouldn't it be wise to start preparing your fighter for such a guy, who stands a good chance of facing your fighter in the future? They want us to believe it's Floyd who really don't want this fight, but it's really not hard to see which fighter would be more in there comfort zone should this fight take place.

(Pacquiao's the better fighter, Floyd's the better boxer)

Floyd would have already disposed (60-70 million payday!) of the "one dimensional" Pac who has "zero chance of winning" in what Floyd himself called an "easy fight".

 Yeah and I think Freddie Roach's game plan is to just have Pacquiao go out there and throw as many punches as he can. Jesus Chaves threw over 900 punches at Floyd in 9 rounds and Floyd still out landed him and stopped him

I think Pacquiao beats FMJ by making him too concerned with defense to maintain a sustained offense. There is no way he can win the fight that way.

FMJ showed some balls coming forward the entire time vs Mosley, but if he tried that against Pacquiao, he'd either get KO'd, or would change his mind real quick once getting popped a few times.

Manny could beat Floyd with a gameplan, or combination of gameplans. Manny could come out smoking in the early rounds, taking advantage of Floyd's unpreparedness, stick and move in the mid rounds, etc.
