you aren't showing sources, you mention things from sources non-filipino's would know about, show me a source from yahoo or espn about manny being this god father type man and i'll shut up....there's a lot of things on google, show me one from yahoo or espn......what proof am i to provide, all i mentioned was manny was the favorite, and i said go to the sports book and see for yourself, not betting has nothing to do with going and seeing for yourself......yes word of wisdom, bookies don't get rich from losing, so they know what they are talking about, and what they are talking about is manny being a 2 to 1 favorite in beating lil floyd

emmanuel gets his AZZ beat when this fight happens. We also have to consider the fact that he will be weakened from drawing blood, it's like a cherry on top.

So non-Filipinos would know about Filipino news sights? Why would yahoo or espn pick up the story? It doesn't serve their interests. Nobody reading yahoo cares. Espn are a bunch of haters and don't have a boxing journalist on staff. Mayweather is the only Boxer who's personal life is seen as "copy".

Man please. NO boxing expert in their right mind says FMJ will lose that fight. They might call FMJ names. NONE of them say he will lose. Nobody respected anyway.

Like I said. I don't bet. I don't check lines. Lines change anyway. NOBODY in their right mind has Pac over Mayweather after the Mosley affair. That might change in time...

That's what will happen to emmanuel if he throws a lot of punches, but the moar likely scenario is emmanuel gets his work rate controlled by Floyd. emmanuel has had his work rate significantly reduced before on two separate occasions.

you don't have anything that's y you keep bullshitting.......u the one to talk about haters.............nobody reading asnb or whatever that filipino site u use cares.....here's an expert
    Stephen Edwards
"I would have went with Floyd had he made the fight after the Shane Mosley performance. He had worked off the rust and I thought he caught his rhythm. At this point and things could change, I would take Manny by late stoppage or close decision. I would assume that he would consume Floyd with his efficient work rate then keep Floyd honest when Floyd presses him, with the new improved check right hook. However, I want to point out that this is not a concrete pick. I personally expect Manny to slow down and burn out somewhat. Nobody can keep fighting that high energy style like he does. At some point he will not be able to give maximum effort. If I see this in Manny and the all of a sudden the fight gets made, remember I said it first."

So the ONLY thing giving Pac the advantage is ring rust. Really? Even your "source" says he has no faith in a skill argument.

Manny ain't slowing down. He is on power pellets. He is the only fighter this long on the tooth NOT changing his style. Manny was slowing down back in his Marquez, Barrera, Morales days. That is what any SANE fan is saying. The man was a boxer puncher running out of gas at 130. Now he is never tired AND has MORE power? F that. Drug test.

    Exactly.

The guy has been outboxed by guys nowhere near Mayweather's level of boxing skill.

    Why don't they see it?

Marquez threw a Mayweatheresque volume of punches, 43 per round, and controlled emmanuel's work rate to 52 per round. Keep in mind that Marquez doesn't even move after countering.

Floyd, how Pac sucks (keeping it subtle though), and drug testing? That's all. Probably a few posts here and there (black fighters only) to keep your sanity. :good

Explain to me all this drug testing thing, I'd love to hear it for the 10000th time. J/k. :patsch

This thread is about the fight so... Nobody said Pac sucked. I have said that his career peaked and then "re-peaked". Then with a body covered in jailhouse tattoos he became afraid of needles and drug testing. If that makes sense to you I have a bridge to sell you in San Francisco. Cheap.

Black fighters only? Are you projecting your racist BS? My apologies for not being joined at the hip with you in my Boxing style preference. I like Pure Boxers (counter punchers) and fast Boxer Punchers.

As long as your buddies bring up how unbelievably fast and powerful Manny is? Drug testing is relevant.

When you watched the Cotto fight, did you see Cotto out box Manny in round 8 and 10 when he moved around?

As A Pac fan (and definitely not a Floyd fan), IMO, Floyd edges Pac in the boxing skills department. Not by much, but still, an edge.

Power: about equal, maybe a very slight edge for Pac

    Size: Floyd

Chin: a slight edge for Pac

    Speed: Floyd (only just)

    Accuracy: Floyd by a whisker

Timing: Floyd by a slight edge

Dictating the flow of the fight: about equal, maybe Floyd by a hair

    Defence: Floyd

    Stamina/conditioning: Equal

    Overall Ring Smarts: Floyd

However, there are the intangibles. Will to win, heart, confidence etc.

I believe Pac holds an edge here.

Unless Floyd's ducking (and it's not even debatable that he has ducked) is part of some scheme to boost ppvs when they finally meet, Pac appears to have gotten inside his head. And If Floyd is rattled, which I believe to be the case, it could throw off his gameplan and ability to adjust.

Pac demonstrated an ability to surprise the pundits and find a way to win against Oscar, Ricky and Miguel. By the time Clottey and Marg came around, he was the favourite.

These events have slowly built up inside Floyd's head, and by the time Cotto was destroyed, IMO, Floyd began to have serious worries. ( That's when the ducking began. )

While Floyd has to be the slight favourite on paper, I feel he has doubts. Otherwise this fight would be in the past by now.

And the psychological edge Pac brings into the ring (which Floyd has done his best to neutralize), might be enough to offset the razor-thin advantage Floyd possesses.
