Yeah the second fight was scored closer now that I remember. And yet people who think Floyd won the first fight still believe he clearly beat him in the second fight. The irony. Bad judging.

the second fight is an anamoly...i think judges scored it closer than it was to make up for the ridiculous scores in the first fight. the 1st one is one of the toughest fights i've ever scored. could just be me but castillo landed more shots, more powerful shots but mayweather controlled the fight with ring generalship and every round looked a bit different and in at least half an argument could be made for either

I dont underestimate the effect of Floyd adapting in times
    of need, thats for sure.

An example is in the Oscar fight, now clearly Oscars jab was
doing him wonders - then Floyd adapted and Oscar abandoned
the Jab, asked why he did so after the fight and Oscars excuse was
"it just wasnt the night for it" or something or other.

Same goes for Zab, but the thing with Zab was, his jab was
countering Floyd, it was really effecting Mayweather.

In the interview after the fight, Zab was asked about it and
had no answer, Floyd does work well in nullifying his opponets
    strengths.

Well it all depends on what you are judging on. Ring generalship, Effective punching, etc. That is why the first fight is split between so many people.

exactly. i think it could be scored for either really, 115-113 for either guy is reasonable. It's a LITTLE tougher to justify floyd though because he did take the harder shots and more of them

it was a close fight, i had floyd by a round or two dependin on who gets the swing rounds. it weren't a robbery.

reid - ottke was a robbery
funeka - guzman was a robbery
martinez - cintron was a robbery.

    this wasn't

biggest i've ever seen by far. ****ing lewis-holyfield 1: lewis hardly looked like ali or louis in that fight and though the draw was wrong, it isn't even one of the worst decision i've ever seen. reid ottke, THAT was a robbery.

damn right, the ref somehow turned a 10-8 round for reid into a 10-8 round for ottke!

The only people who cry robbery are those who hate Mayweather, the first 4-5 were clear Mayweather rounds and he took at least 2-3 after that, a close fight, but no robbery

    1 Floyd 10 Castillo 9
    2 Floyd 10 Castillo 9
    3 Floyd 10 Castillo 9 Lederman opposite
    4 Floyd 10 Castillo 9
    5 Floyd 10 Castillo 9 Lederman opposite
    6 Castillo 10 Floyd 9
    7 Castillo 10 Floyd 9
8 Floyd 10 Castillo 9 Deduction was fine Draculik grabbed his right arm they seperated and then he let loose with the left after being warned earlier Lederman had it 9-9 but I go by ten point must system
    9 Floyd 10 Castillo 9
10 Castillo 10 Floyd 8 I like the deduction just dont remember Draculic really warning him prior
    11 Castillo 10 Floyd 9
    12 Castillo 10 Floyd 9

Floyd 114 Castillo 113 difference was the early rounds. Lederman gave the 3rd to Castillo but I thought Floyd one the whole round except for a period of the last 45 to 30 seconds not enough for me to give the round to Castillo. Lederman gave Castillo number 5 but I still liked Floyd's clean effective punching and generalship. Castillo was still having a hard time landing. Then Castillo got going from 6 on with a speed bump in the 8th on a deduction and losing the 9th. I do agree that Castillo looked very good best fight Floyd has ever been in and the best strategy against Floyd but I hardly argue the decision. I mean I'm no pro judge but Floyd took the early rounds and then Castillo got docked in a round he was winning. Floyd managed to take a later round and it just proved too much on the cards. Many may disagree with me but I think Floyd one or it was very close. Give Castillo 3 and or 5 and you got a draw or a Castillo win. I thought my card was accurate and better than the real judges. Who had it 115 to 111 twice and 116 to 111 which is way wrong. I could see this fight going a point either way or even no robbery here.

Don't pay attention to this troll. He's esb's most sensitive Floyd fan and will defend him at all times, even when he actually doesn't have a clue whether things are true or not:rofl;)

Mayweather spent a hell lot of times holding in that fight and Drakulich breaks them almost immediately once they get close. Castillo could not execute his game mostly because of the ref.

I still need to know what was the gameplan. I know that judah tagged him with the left a few good times, but that was only in like 3 rounds but it wasn't consistant. And he only won 3 rounds. I fail to see the strategy or approach, that why I need it explained.
