Is he the real deal? And when he steps up in competition, what would be the best match-up for him?

Hard to say at the moment. He's a good fighter, and Barry McGuigan swears he's going all the way, but we know this sport is all about levels so I guess it's just a case of seeing how he gets on as he steps up in competition. He looked impressive in his fight against Molitor, who while limited was a bit of a step up for him.

There is a big domestic fight for him against Scott Quigg that needs to happen next. Would tell us a lot more about him.

Id say so, ive been watching the guy since he was in the amateur's, and he always seemed like he could be a classy pro. He's got sound boxing skills, can counter punch well and fight going either backward and forward. Not to mention he is sound defensively and can bang fairly hard if he catches his opponents clean. Right now he's got a tough, but winnable fight in February against Kiko Martinez, a solid fringe contender who has a hard hitting pressure style. Carl should win, and if he does so looking good, ill be convinced that hes got what it takes to make it to world level. He should to be kept away from any of the big guns like Mares, Rigondeaux and Donaire for the foreseeable future though imo, and have another five or six fights before he thinks about going for a world title.

I'm completely convinced that he will compete for titles and be top 5 in his division. His skill level is extremely high, he is an excellent athlete with good power and he just keeps improving.

I don't know that someone losing to Nonito means they are not the real deal. But I won't be at all surprised if he is competitive for number one in a division and is a legit world champ at some point.

He might outbox Kiko if he fights on his back foot... But Kiko is tough as nails and puts a lot of work... So I don't know if Frampton will be able to handle it.

I saw the Frampton-Molitor fight and if he goes to fight in the same way he probably will be knocked out. Molitor was a joke with absolute no Pop.

Definitely one of the more promising young British fighters...Frampton's still got a lot to prove but he's shown great potential, he punches hard and accurate with a come-forward style so should be in some great fights

Spot on plus he can box on the back foot as he did alot against the mexican Hirales completely nullified him. Some werent impressed by that performance but as a purest i was, Framptom looks like the full package

He could outbox Kiko standing on his head. Kiko's a tough guy and a good fighter, but Frampton is better at every facet of the game. Plus it's a home fight for Frampton.

You can still get great odds on Kiko if you want them though.
