Watched the Morales vs Garcia fight....

Look at the weights for those fights. Morales was weight-drained in the two rematches with Pacquiao.

 

Garcia won... Good fighter but nothing special.
Good scalp... But not top 10 or anything close to it, IMO.

Retire Champ.

morales still busted up garcia. smashed his nose in and landed pretty much at will. losing to fighters of garcias caliber is below terrible. time to retire gran campeon

Hopefully he calls it a day, he had a nice little exciting return, gave us a few highlights but ultimately a shadow of his former self.

War Morales.

 

Tells you something when an old, shot legend like Morales can return to the ring, way out of his weight class and STILL be competitive to fighters like Maidana and Garcia.

 

Fight was alot closer it was no UD, but a shot Morales was still able to outbox this young buc for most of the fight. Nothing Garcia did really fazed Morales Erik after the 9th just started to fade on his own as Steward said his age was catching up with him. Morales nothing left to prove he was slipping 7 yrs ago and still beat Pacman it was/is gut wrenching to see Roy Jones continue fighting him and Morales need to hangem up. Garcia a good kid, but lucky Morales was a shot fighter.
