Im sitting here watching Roberto Duran! its a past it version of the great Duran 20 pounds over his best weight. He is slower and clearly no longer at the top of his game physically. Yet, there he is against a younger stronger, taller, faster Champion. Its an inexperiened young Champion, but one with all the physical advantages and hungry to prove himself. Duran utilizes all the boxing skills he has honed over what! 30 yrs of fighting, and a guy that should be scorching him is starting to get systematically broken down. I see Duran slip and dig to the body, feint and smash straight rights to the head. I see him so subtly slip huge shots or roll with punches while nothing lands flush and all the while Duran digs wicked shots to the body9 out of 10 experts picked Duran to lose this one and yet this guy is putting an absolute clinic, its both savage and beautiful the breakdown of an opponent. After 8 rds the opponent is a punching bag. Fatigued and hurt the opponent has nothing left but courage, its over and Duran is the Champ again he would do it again when even older and with even less to give Such was the magic of the Great Roberto Duran beating the odds again vs Davey Moore,,,,

Watching Floyd in the SAUNA heat in canning town was amazing.

    hearing him say

" We dont worry about conditions ...we just work" repeatedly was class...

u can understand the self motivation and mental strength of top athletes.
