Olympic gold medalist and two time world champion must be a terrible boxer.

I mean seriously one has to wonder how someone clearly so terrible has made it so far?

If it was that easy why the hell hasn't anyone else achieved what AJ has with such limited skills?

 

Because finance runs boxing, he draws a dirty boatload of paying casuals. Easily manufactured into this glorified bodybuilder just because he has cash. He basically bought his first belt.

Take draw power away from Canelo & AJ, they'd have had a much tougher time.

 

He's an average boxer but he's well above average in speed and power.

 

For his size, his punches are very fast and explosive.
He's about 6'6, long reach.
He doesn't need to have great boxing skills. He just needs to be good enough to impose his physicality.

 

He's been well managed, marketed and promoted, to be fair.

 

What ratio would you give Wilder on that scale?

He looks a bit robotic and book-taught, but he's perfectly sound in all his punches. Personally I find Fury a bit hilarious to watch box, but fair play to him he makes it work.

If you think Joshua is hilarious at boxing, i suggest you watch the only to date Heavyweight Champion to retire undefeated namely Marciano, even his trainer Goldman said of Marciano, "I got a guy who's short, stoop shouldered, and balding with two left feet. They all look better than he does as far as the moves are concerned"

AJ is hilarious oh yeah, he laughs all the way to the bank, and his name is indelibly printed into the annals of boxing history, i hope he can cope mentally with the views expressed by Joker......i just think he might.
