Im gonna be watching the PPV fight this weekend at the movie theater this weekend. Has anyone experienced this before? Would be better to order the fight at home or is this a good idea?

I've never done it but it seems like a great idea. Bit of a different atmosphere I guess.

The best way to watch a fight, really. Everyone who is there is a true fan of boxing. Plus you get the super surround sound and big ass screen.

OP, are you in the US? I wasn't aware that movie theaters were showing Pacquiao-Bradley III.

Consider yourself lucky you get the option. The idea of doing that in aus is laughable. Hell even for the AFL granny it wont happen because its more of a "relax have a barby an beer with mates while you watch the game " scenario.

A friend of mine did it for one of the PBF fights says it was a good look. Great sound and picture the only drawback was that he couldn't drink as much as he wanted to because of the long waits at the concession stands.

You can only smuggle in so much espcially if you're a beer drinker. If you drink Liquor I can imagine you could would be fine. My friend is more of a beer drinker.

They did search him but it wasn't thorough he snuck in two cans of beer. The rest he had to buy at the concessions.

The ticket person makes minimum wage. I doubt he cares enough to search through your backpack.

That sounds way better, i dont know if it will be packed or not but everybody in there is guna be a boxing fan, massive screen, will feel more like ring side than sittin on your couch.

Ive never seen this offered in the UK. I would be tempted though depending on the fight.

In the old closed circuit days before ppv, this was the only way premium fights were shown live. From what I can remember, it was a great experience. But then again, the fights were worth paying for so that is different nowadays.
