I'm going to be in madrid when the fury Cunningham fight is on. Do you think there will be any chance I could watch this live. Help would be appreciated as I don't want to miss it.
Very, very unlikely. I lived there last year and it is just not a popular sport over there at all. None of my mates knew who Mayweather was and probably could only name Ali if I asked them about boxers they knew. You never know, you might stumble across an ex-pat bar showing it but if the big fights don't get shown, Tyson Fury's got no chance of being on.
Boxings almost invisible in most of continental Europe. Germany has a lot, Italy's got a bit, that's about it for Western Europe.
An irish pub/sports bar will be your best bet, one that has an english sat box, there's a cracking one near the bernabau cant remember its name though, i watch four FA Cup games on the spin there a couple of months back. Marca is the only Spanish TV channel that covers boxing but itll only be big vegas shows or Kiko.
When you get there have a look for an English bar? They always find away to get tv from the UK whether it's legal or not
Your in madrid man, what the heck you want to watch that **** for?! Not like its a big mayweather type fight. Enjoy madrld, have some tapas, drink spanisH wine, pull some latino's. Barely anyone in the uk will be watching let alone madrid
What a weekend to go away As if you're missing Cleverly V Robin 'the wonder' Krasiniqi, it cost £500,000
How did you know he's in to fellas? Joking aside, if you're on holiday go and enjoy yourself you can record the fight or download it when you get home.
It's a bit of grey area but one that all of the TV companies accept as it nets them money (well it does for Sky).
