A couple years ago a Chinese biophysicist (so, doesn't really practice medicine which makes it all the worse) found a couple with HIV and used a gene editing technology (CRISPR) that sort of works to create a gene edited embryo that should be resistant to HIV.

So, at least two (there were twins) gene edited babies walking the earth today. I would not be surprised if there were more.

What has to be made clear is that just because CRISPR works to make a plant that glows in the dark or whatever doesn't mean it works to the level you would want for human beings. What will happen to the great-grandchildren of people who had their genes edited clumsily? It's a nightmare really.

People have said for awhile that the athletes who get caught are just sloppy. They didn’t bother to learn about half-lives and cycles and it stayed in their system too long. Some athletes called the 1996 Olympics “The HGH Games”

It’s not just for those who looked ripped also. I went to see this awful fight in 2007 between James Toney and Danny Batchedler, and both guys tested positive for foods. It was a terrible fight too, Toney was a shot fighter and it was sad to watch.

I thought it was funny when David Stern tried to claim that NBA players don’t use PEDs because it wouldn’t help them. Derrick Rose said it was a major problem in the NBA, then his PR team or the league must have contacted him because he tried to play dumb and say “I didn’t say that”
