Watching Donaire vs. Narvaez. Not impressed with Garcia as a trainer...

    No, i understand that aspect. Donaire won the fight. I thought Donaire had the ability to KNOCKOUT Narvaez. Garcia didn't keep advising on how to do this... It was a win, but a disappointment. :smoke

    I think Garcia realised early on that Narvaez wasn't going anywhere and was mostly concerned with Donaire staying calm and not taking risks.

    Narvaez only worried about his head and left his body open. Garcia is an average trainer not great one... :smoke

    I thought Garcia was giving great advice. He knows that Donaire's instinct is to be a crowd pleaser and will often get hit unneccessarily just to do damage of his own because he really believes in his ability to knock his opponents out.
