Watching Lomachenko is the first time ever I truly witnessed art in sports.

I've only listened to about half of it so far but the hypocrisy of some of the things he said given he's the trainer of Andre Ward of all people was priceless. It's like when Naazim Richardson complained about Tyson Fury being a dirty fighter (do I need to explain that one to anyone? lol). I actually like Richardson but I've always disliked Virg.

The first thing that opened my eyes to what a deeply dishonest sack of **** he is was when he accused Kessler of lying about some of the unsportsmanlike things Team Ward did to him to him to unsettle him before the fight when he arrived in Oakland. Kessler is one of the nicest guys in the sport and a gentleman in and out of the ring. He's a fearless road warrior who doesn't need the decked stacked in his favour like Virg's boy. Just an all round class act who very few have a bad word to say about. Anyway, Kessler spoke out about some of these unsportsmanlike tactics they did (and we all know this is exactly how Ward and his team go about their business) and Virg accused him of lying about it. Only problem for Virg was one of the things that he accused him of lying about was caught on camera because Showtime's cameras were rolling when it happened. I can't remember exactly what it was now but Virg's lie got exposed.

I'm going to go and listen to the rest of that interview now while I workout. It's in 3 parts.

Lomachenko is an artist. His canvas just happens to be his opponents' faces.

I remember when Monet Mayweather fought Manet Pacquiao. That was not a work of art.

There's been others like James Toney, Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Ali, Roy Jones....They all had unique styles and their own art form as boxers. Loma of course has a very unique style that's beautiful to watch but he's definitely not the first

We even had big Dave Meltzer talking about him on his latest observer show. He gave Loma's performance 7*. That is when you know you've made it, when big Dave adjusts his ratings system.

No, seriously, he just brought him up today when he was going over viewing figures for the week.
