Watching Lomas fights and its easier to see why he lost to Lopez

One could reasonably argue that Loma won 5 of the 6 rounds (7-11) in which both fighters were the most active. So, no, Rd 12 does not in and of itself contradict the notion that Loma generally got the better of Lopez in the rounds which saw the most two-way action.

Lopez won Rd 12 and deservedly so. He landed the harder, more telling shots. But let's not act as if Loma had absolutely no success in that round (he actually landed one of his best shots all night near the end of the round) and got beat from pillar to post for 3 mins.

 

There's certainly a chance. I wouldn't say it's a good chance, but there's a chance.
