Watching Mosley knock out cheating Margarito was the most satisfying result

Why was he banned for a year then if his hand wraps were not illegal? I haven't dug too deep into this whole controversy, all I know is Nazim Richardson saw something untoward with his wraps, they found a white substance in his gloves, plus wet pads which his trainer later said he "accidentally" put into his wraps and later on when the substance was tested it was indeed found to be a plaster of Paris like substance when combined with his wet pads would have resulted in him having hardened hand wraps which is illegal.

Maybe Margarito didn't know his wraps were illegal and it was his trainer doing it without his knowledge and the state commission failed to prove he knowingly cheated as his trainer was willing to take the blame it seems. But it's suspected he cheated in previous fights, namely the first Cotto fight as well as the Citron fight as both fighters experienced unusual swelling.

I think you have to be rather gullible to believe it only happened for this one fight and that his trainer didn't know what he was doing. I mean you accidentally wet pads and put a powder like substance in the wraps? His trainer knew what he was doing and regardless of the fact if Margarito knew or not, he benefited from it and his resume is suspect because of it.

 

My friend Go & Google the hearing where Margarito applied for his license to box in Ca be reinstated & was denied. Those wraps were tested by an independent lab & they found no evidence of plaster at all, no mention of "plaster like white substance" either. All they reported was that by microscopic analysis trace elements of sulpher & calcium were found which will also be found in HUMAN SWEAT!!!!!! in those minute amounts. Richardson didn't "catch " Margarito He claimed the pads felt hard &asked they be removed .
Then he further claimed "Plaster Blocks fell from the wrap. Which no one else saw whatsoever.
The CSAC could not prove a thing against Margarito or they would have indicted him & rightly so. It turns out the plaster blocks & the plaster like substance never existed obviously
The CSAC issue this statement " We , as the State Commission , will not be returning Mr Margarito's license to box in Ca as we "STILL SUSPECT HE MAY HAVE TRIED TO LOAD HIS GLOVES" WE SUSPECT ?????
I thought the law in the good old US reads like this. Any suspect must be deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. There was no court There was no trial This was a kangaroo court We say you gulty so you must be is whats known as a KANGAROO court.
As for Cotto's face after Fight 1 Compare it to fight 2 It was beaten just as bad if not worse. That is comparable to a Lynching in my book
What about Margarito's smashed eye socket from the Pacquaio fight?? Robert Garcia complained that Freddie had illegally stacked Pac's wraps but was told stacking wraps is allowed in Texas now as well as Nevada ?????????? Something stinks bad & its not fish
