I have to say if Floyd was an artist I would considered this fight his masterpiece. Absolutely awesome performance!! I have seen most guys trying to corner Floyd so they can hit him. Isn't going to happen. He is way too good and too smart. Guys need to train to be able to hit him in the middle of the ring. Study his attacks and his tempo. And used the ****ing jab. But better be a fast one. Everyone one wants to knock him out. but nobody ever try to accumulate points. I would like to see someone try that. That Jab to the body is a killer. Because they all end up dropping the hand and eating the left hook that is coming right after. Not so worry about the right over hand. That one you can see coming. Of course, its easier said that done. Floyd is ****ing great. Regardless or his personality issues.
Masterful performance! He started to really embarrass "Chico" towards the end. That's the Floyd that I like to watch. The Floyd from that era up until '05. That's the Floyd that you can compare to the greats, not the freakshow version that fights every 18 months.
i loved the compubox stats for chico in i think it was round 7 .. he had like a 50%+ connect rate because he only landed 1 out of 2 punches thrown that round THATS DOMINANCE!
Yeah, but Gatti (may he RIP) was also a Floyd Masterpiece...I was amazed with his accuracy...Gatti did not belong in the ring with Floyd...Floyd was a monster that night!
Slow motion between rounds show how every time Chico lowered his hand to throw the right Floyd stuffed that left hook in. It was not Chico not throwing, it was floyd seeing every time he lowered his hand to throw and blasting him. Masterful split second response every time.
