Exactly. This sums up Oscar's performance.

There is an older Leonard that fought Hagler, passed prime Leonard. And there is shot to **** Leonard that fought Camacho and Norris.

The question really is did Hoya have what he had against Mayweather (passed prime Hoya), that is a great defence, strong and crisp jab, ability to take a punch, or was he shot to **** (stumbling on own feet, world famous jab looking more like a slow pawing at open space from round 1, poor punch resistance)?

    Ask yourselves this;
Do you really believe the guy who took 2 flush left hooks from Trinidad in a row without flinching and the man who exchanged bombs all night against prime Mosley could actually be hurt by Pac without being shot?

NOPE!! Its ****in crazy. everybody was gonna give DLH the win because he was just bigger. its called boxing not strongest man competiton. that was the easiest money I've ever made in my life.

Lets just break it down real quick for you DLH lovers.

    1. DLH hasnt beat anybody good in 7 years
    2. didnt fight a southpaw in 10 years.
    3. speed kills, that simple, DLH has never had spped.
    4. didnt fight going backwards in forever.
5.hasnt made WW in forever, thats what you get when you try to pick on somebody smaller than you, man up and fight somebody your size.
    6. got a black eye in sparring, I dont care what anybody says, you get touched up in sparring your not gonna beat the best boxer in the world.
    7. he was never great.

Homie I was in wild card training during these days beleive me Freddy openly would say that those guys were shot, get ****ing real and grow up this is a business and when you are in this business the goal is to maximize as much gross as you possibly can and if there is a low risk high reward opportunity out there you ****ing take it, and that is what Roach has done with Manny so dont act like that isnt part of the ****ing game son!~

I think it was a good win for Manny, and his weight jumping is an extraordinary ability that very few, if any, fighters possess - so I give him a lot of credit. But there are people who pretend that this was a good version of Oscar, when it was probably the worst version of the great man that we have ever seen.

You think the Golden Boy will stick around for a coupe more fights, DINAMITA?

Firstly, no one gives a **** about your betting habits. Secondly, a ten time, six weight world champion is great, by any standards.

yeah. i know what you mean. barrera was prime, p4p#3 and featherweight lineal champ when pac KO'd him in 2003. as for morales, he was p4p#6 in the 2nd pac fight and p4p#9 in the 3rd. and we have to remember that pac still remains the only fighter to have KO'd morales.

You must be out of your goddamned mind if you don't think Oscar ever had speed.

And the black eye in sparring? Are you high, man? Fighters get black eyes in sparring all the time. I remember Vitali having one before the Peter fight...how'd that end up for Peter?

very true, not one bit of credit shows how much people do not want to believe that pac is that good. these fans are shamefull.

assuming that what you said is true, aside from those guys, who would be a more formidable challenge to pac aside from barrera and morales during that time? we all know that they are the biggest money guys that pac could get when it happened.

Nope, never seen speed out of DLH. then screw the black eye, the other options I put out there are very clear. I guess I'm the only one that can break down a boxing match. 1 thing I forgot to mention, hes never had a straight right, and thats the best punch against a southpaw, another thing that ppl didnt break down, easy money.

team dlh made the mistake of having the wrong weight strategy of making 147 for the pac fight. they made dlh make 147 too early with still one month to go before that fight. as a result, they virtually shrunk dlh from a natural 154-lber to a small welter come fightnight. you certainly can't blame pac for a mistake team dlh did to themselves. pac just fights the guy in front of him.
