I am not a big Mayweather, but if he goes for the KO and really fights like a warrior but end up getting Ko'd I would have much more respect for Floyd then for him to come out and school this low level fighter for 12 rounds and take no risks!
why does he have to take risks (apart from stepping in the ring) to earn your respect? 'warriors' are fighters who don't have Floyd's skills. they give you your popcorn fights
The reason Floyd looks off is very simple. I hope his doesn't fly by you all. "He has done this **** a 100 times it seems. He says the same thing every press conference and its just another day for him." Floyd has been in boxing his entire life. His father was taking him to the gym in the car seat and when he could walk they would hold him up to hit the bag. These press conferences, interviews etc are all the same. The only time you see him really get excited when talking boxing is when he talks about Genaro Hernandez and when he was coming up as a teenager meeting all the pros and in the gym with them.
doesn't mean he can't suddenly become human and even the playing field with maidana out of lack of interest I've said all along...if Floyd is going to lose, it'll be because Floyd contributed to that loss
Floyd isn't going to lose in that ring. Boxing is his sanctuary and once he gets in that ring he is going all out and nothing matters but the win. Him looking off is simply just all this stuff is another day to him. For his opponents and everyone around its a dream come true. "Floyd once had a dream that he lost a fight and got up and ran 10 miles" Nate ( big guy that Floyd hits the body pad on )
Floyd or any boxer uses their skills to win the fight. If that makes the fight entertaining brilliant, if not then its tough luck.
I cant say i agree. I have watch all his press conferences before hand and he has never looked like this. I dont believe im reading too much into it but after seeing that; this is the first time I believe Floyd could lose. His body language was all wrong, the way he spoke was lacking confidence. Im sure some of you muppets will say its to sell fights but if he wanted to sell fights he would big up the ppv not play it down. Somethings not right here and Mayweather will be dropped!
That is quality! But when someone feels invincible for so long, they believe their own 'hype' so to speak. They become relaxed in knowing they are going to win every time. Same as Tyson vs Douglas. Same as Jones jr vs Tarver.
maybe, but everybody is human you can't manufacture passion and desire, no matter how much you are getting paid
My point being is that the majority of fighters lose before they step in the ring. If they are not mentally stable then it plays a large part in a fight
You're the muppet who started saying Maidana was going to floor him, weeks ago. Now this thread You're laughable, will you make a lifetime bet with me? If Mayweather does not come close to going down, you leave this forum, if he does.. I'll leave.
