Alvarez look pretty ****ing fast with great stamina in the last 4 rounds...or was it just bc it was against grandpa mosley??? Idk I'm still not sold on canelo I'd like to see him against Andy lee or chavez something like that
You'll see him against Kirkland soon, which is a better fight. Lee and Chavez are going to dance soon, so they're booked. Hes got decent speed by the way, he's got enough speed to hang with the big boys, given his power.
He has got decent handspeed but with Mosley just standin there it will always make you look better. Kirkland TKO 8
He showed some decent hand speed. Overall his skillset was allowed to shine in there. You could tell he was landing thudding blows, Mosley's constitution is so tough.
His Skills were demonstrated as well in the Rhodes, and Cintron fights... Gomez just showed he can rely on power... and hatton fought a cautious fight like Mosely and was dominated as well... Rhodes Cintron Mosely are my fave performances of Canelo so far.
I also dont know if it was Mosley that was making him look better but his speed did impress me. His combinations and angles were also pretty impressive. I've been a Canelo fan though, I think he's going to make it big so there might be some bias. I'd still love to see Canelo put that fraud Chavez jr. On his ass though.
Canelo vs kirkland would be a war id love to see them duke it out but what about macklin?? U guys think he'd be a good opponent for canelo to test himself again
