i just saw this documentary and its very biased towards frazier, they basically never gave ali's side of story, just how frazier saw it. you'd figure after 30 something years that people start forgiving, specially when considering the intent of all the trash talking done by ali was to hype the fight. he done it with everyone else he fought. very sad to see.

Regarding the first 2 paragraphs,Fraziers current problems are not Ali's fault. In fact Frazier received his biggest paydays fighting Ali,and thus by association made Joe a lot of money. He shouldnt be bitter at Ali for losing the fortune that Ali helped him make.

The last chapter is spot on though:good. He was an ungrateful spiteful, vindictive ******* to Joe.
Hype and publicity didnt justify it either. He really crossed the line on this.

People say the fued was over, but Ali still took his jabs afterword. I remember watching Johnny Carson, and Ali was on their promoting his cologne. Johnny asked Ali "If Joe Frazier came out with a cologne, would he buy it"? Ali said no. Johnny asked Ali why he wouldn't buy it. Muhamed said "It wouldn't smell good".
It was a simple line, but funny as hell at the time. I know Joe heard about that show and was pissed.

Joe was definitely given the ****-end of the stick in this whole situation. But he should really forgive and forget. To live the rest of your life hating on someone who has done you wrong only allows them to truly DO YOU WRONG. Ali was a disgrace to his community and fellow black brother with his disgusting acts to "hype a fight." There are far easier ways to hype a fight, but to cross these lines in the manner that it he did is down right without honor or pride.

BUT after all was said and done, Ali (in his own mind) attempted to make peace by some pathetic attempt to tell his son to tell Frazier he's sorry. That is not an apology, nor is telling a group of media people that he would like Joe by his side in a holy war. In Ali's mind nonetheless, this was enough to clear his mind of all the wrongdoings in this bitter and tragic ending. So Ali was able to live out the rest of his days guilt free and on a higher path, while Joe is stuck constantly fuming over his rival. If Joe wants an apology...a proper apology...he should demand one. Leaving cute little answer machines will not erase or ease the things that were done to him. He really should just forget the whole thing and put it behind him to rest. So he may live the rest of his days with a smile on his face...and not a bitter smirk.

    With all this said.

**** THE THREAD STARTER FOR BEING A TOTAL DISGRACEFUL ******. IF YOU WANNA TALK BOXING, THEN TALK BOXING! Don't start threads calling some of the best names in the game, bitter old men to justify whatever ***** was shoved up your ass after viewing the documentary. Whining :| and **** about wah wah wah "grow up"...you have yet to witness your ****ing balls drop you silly ****ing *****.

Go play with your toys and play your fight night round 3 you ****in' 8 year old girl. We have enough dumbasses on this forum. **** off...no one likes you or respects or cares to read anything you post from here on in. This **** thread is enough to caution the rest of us to keep clear from your insight and worthless rhetoric you ****ing bafoon.

Now please...go color your coloring books.:fire:hi::fire

When has ali EVER said he doesnt like joe frazier, after he nolonger felt the need to promote the fights?

On the contrary he has said that joe has made Ali the name it is today, and he loves him for that.
