Hellow guys, I have swollen middle knuckle for about one week. It looks like I have water in it. Does anyone have experience with it? It's like inflated. And where should I go with it? To surgery? Thank you guys. And sorry for my english.

Hello MightyMike, rest your knuckles on a radiator (which is turned on) so the water evaporates from your knuckle. This will surely work. All the best. :thumbsup :hi:

dip your hand in petrol, as the great Joe Joyce used to do

Yeah ice it repeatedly and avoid punching stuff until swelling goes down.
It's probably not a big deal if it's minor swelling. Maybe you're using different gloves? Maybe just extra wear. If it doesn't go down after a week, see a doctor.

The ****? That's either dedication taken to the extreme or an indication that he needs to purchase an icemaker.

In Joe Joyce's case it's incredible stupidity.

    Awful advice.

If you want to do it properly position your knuckle over an open flame. Radiator? :patsch

Well, As i said... It's swollen over week and half now but it doesn't hurt. It happend probably because when i am punching heavy bag at home then I am usually punching it without gloves. My knuckles are pretty hard and hardened so it doesn't even hurt but somehow I had to hit the heavy bag incorrectly or what and that's what probably caused it. I really don't know but I am normaly training with it without any problems... My middle knuckle only sometimes creaks, but that's all :D...
