:thinkIt helps in that it makes you feel fuller and when you feel hungry sometimes, it's because your thirsty. Not the be all end all to losing weight but it helps with the overall plan.
Water can also flush toxins out of your body, this is especially good if you drink beer or pop which can dehydrate the body and theirs toxins in beer. If You drink a cup of water in between beers then you'll thank yourself in the morning.

No doubt, when I have been in top physical condition in the past I always was drinking at least a gallon of water a day. You have to actually make an effort to drink that much it seems, but it does make a big difference.
i dont think it does take much effort tbh i just keep fillin a bottle an sippin at it thru the day then again if your very busy i quess it could b ard
