http://news.boxrec.com/news/2011/odonnell-just-makes-weight-tyson-fury-has-26lbs-weight-advantage O'Donnell didn't make weight first time but then came in at 147, Watson 146.5 Fury - 261lbs Brazilian - 235lbs Daws and Theophane - both 140
Watson should be favoured, wasn't O'Donnell talkiing about dropping to 140 a while ago? So it's a concern if he's struggling to make 147.
Yeah, I remember some talk about that. Really hope Watson can do it this time, he was really unlucky not to get the decision in their first fight.
Why not? He fought McDermott at 247 in his first fight and has fought lighter earlier on in his career.
If he is going to lose some of the flab, he's going to put more muscle on in the process. He's 6"9 as well remember. I can't see him getting anywhere near 240.
His technique is terrible, but he does seem to possess serious power(though opposition has been poor), and even though Fury looks to have got a very solid chin, with his defence, you never know.
Muscle's better than fat, that's for sure. If Wladimir can get down to 240 at his age, then Fury sure can. Fury's only 22, and if he's done it in the past, I don't quite understand why can't he do it again. And the time gap between now and then isn't huge so I don't understand how it's not realistic. He just needs to get his arse in the Gym more often.
