I know that might be an absurd question, as I assume genetics plays into it but is there a way to make your hands bigger? I have very annoying small hands, or as Jake LaMotta would call his hands - "*** hands" Is there a way to increase the size?
Actually, it is possible. Human growth hormone. Hands and feet, and I think forehead, nose, ears etc grow as a side effect of HGH.* You'd probably need to take absurd amounts of it though. Why would you want bigger hands? Bigger hands wont mean more punching power, if that's your reasoning - if anything it'll mean weaker punches, since youll distribute the force of your punch over a larger area. Not to mention the stuff is dangerous. And cheating, if you're engaging in competitive sport. *If you've finished growing. If you havnt finished growing, HGH will make you taller etc as well.
Good I was of two minds even mentioning it. I wouldnt want to encourage it. But generally, I view information as a good thing so I went ahead. Pleased to hear you're not interested in it. :thumbsup
Not trying to sound like a dick but is that something you made up or do you have a source that bigger hands means less punching power. Cause smaller hands means more fragile hands too, imo. And I thought that HGH stopped adding to peoples height and other areas once theyre fully grown. After youre fully grown it just helps your recovery time.
An increase of size is very improbable. But you can do something to improve the strength of your hands (squeezing tennis balls while doing roadwork etc.).
wow you're smart aren't you!atsch read it again, he didn't say bigger hands mean less punching power he said..... Bigger hands wont mean This content is protected punching power
"if anything it'll mean weaker punches, since youll distribute the force of your punch over a larger area" thats what he alluded too. you love getting ***** slapped dont you.
The basic size is just genetic, however, what you do for a living also has an influence. When I was doing loads of manual work (loading up barges, loading crates at a paint factory etc.) and was constantly having to use my fingers to grab non-standard, heavy loads, my hands and forearms actually became much bigger. If you look at a lot of workmen, in things like roadworks etc. they have biger hands than your normal person. However, since I stopped doing that kind of work, my hands returned fairly quickly to their normal size...
Just of out curiosity how big is your hand print? Can you measure from bottom to the top of the middle finger?
