At 19 this kid has got talent in spades but last night chose to trade toe to toe with a banger in Mark Ramirez. Waylon lost his rematch in a stunning TKO. Was it wise to have rematched him with Ramirez, what kind of direction is Law getting from his training team. Surely they are not saying each outing to get in there and bang on without a plan. He needs some strong advice and a better game plan to cut his way through the Aussie ranks. He has many years in front of him but if he gets past this without improvement to strategy and method then it's gonna be a roller coaster of a ride. Big respect to Ramirez it was a powerful showing and at 30 with a 4/2 record (won last 3) all fought in under 24 months he has got some great reward out of last night. Very exciting fighter with good prospects.
Best knockout I have seen this year. Waylan was knocked out cold on his feet.....time stood still for him for about 2 seconds.....he stood still, arms cocked and then his body gave way. If there has been a better KO in domestic boxing this year let me know.
On the back of last nights concussion I would be surprised if he gets in the ring even for sparring within 4 weeks, it was brutal, his head needs a rest.
Waylon scored 4 week holiday last night. Maniatis will need to find another opponent for Tzouramanis - June 29
after watching fight you cann hear his corner telling waylon to jab and box him,ive seen law fight a few times and seems to like to stand nd trade, hopefully he will listen and box as i had him winning fight
